At Mole Valley Asset Management we believe in community. Our team member and Investment & Systems Administration Manager, Vikki Thompson is showing how she supports her community by running the Virtual Virgin London Marathon.

“Not long ago I completed the NHS Couch to 5k so when the Patchworking Garden Project asked for fundraisers to run this marathon I thought it would be the next best thing! I came across this wonderful volunteer-run oasis working down the road in Dorking. It offers gardening, crafts, laughter, and kind & encouraging company in weekly supported sessions, helping to make life more liveable for local people with a variety of needs. I myself live nearby in Epsom and am lucky enough to have an allotment plot near to home where I spend many an hour tinkering about. The allotment really brings me much peace and joy and helps to keep my health in balance. Hopefully running this marathon will give others the same opportunity. I’ve never run a marathon, in fact don’t think I’ve run more than 5km in one go. Your sponsorship will mean a lot to me and the garden and will definitely make my early morning training sessions more palatable.” – Vikki Thompson.
