Yorkshire T20 Portfolio

Yorkshire T20 Portfolio

What?

The Yorkshire T20 portfolio WILL ONLY invest in listed companies which are headquartered in Yorkshire, in line with our firm commitment to local community-based asset management.

There are over 80 companies, with head offices in Yorkshire, that trade on the stock markets.  These range from gourmet food producers to digital gaming companies, from property giants to healthcare equipment minnows.

The locally based team at Mole Valley Asset Management has the knowledge and experience to understand these companies, identify the changing trends and to select the Top 20 Yorkshire listed companies for your very own portfolio.

Our Yorkshire T20 portfolio will only invest in 20 Yorkshire-based listed companies. The portfolio will be closed to new investors once the total amount invested has reached £25m.

Why?

Yorkshire has diverse and dynamic companies that are frequently world leaders in their own specific areas.  Be part of your community. Invest with your local investment team in your local companies.

A concentrated portfolio, investing in strong, focused companies, with a successful track record, valued at between £10m and £10bn, selected by our in-house, York-based investment team.

What you need to know

Why Mole Valley Asset Management?
  • Expertise in Yorkshire equity investment.
  • The size of MVAM means that we can invest in the best companies regardless of their size, unlike larger investment houses.
  • Fees are fair and transparent, and we align our rewards to the success of our product.
Positives
  • Potential for strong returns.
  • Invest in good quality companies.
  • Consistent, repeatable strategy.
  • Money-back usually within a week of receiving a redemption request.
Risks
  • Investment in a Yorkshire T20 portfolio will have greater risk as the companies in the portfolio can be small companies.
  • The portfolio is concentrated, holding 20 companies, and therefore has additional company-specific risk.
  • The biggest potential downside is that your capital is not guaranteed.

We say…

We would not advocate putting your entire wealth in such a portfolio. While the rewards can be high so can the risks. However, if this sort of investment matches your risk profile then the Yorkshire T20 portfolio with MVAM is a vehicle that can make a difference to your and your dependents’ future wealth.

This is categorised as a high-risk portfolio.  The investment is suitable if you want to take a risk with your money to the extent that you could see significant gains or losses over the long term. You should not buy this portfolio if:

  1. Your objective is to preserve capital.
  2. You cannot tolerate periods where your portfolio is at risk of loss.
  3. You are looking to perform in-line or close to a benchmark.
